This March the 25th of 2010, my man, Percy Sledge will be giving a command performance for the "Alabama Music Hall of Fame" in Montgomery, Alabama.
This will be held at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center. Percy is originally from Leighton, Alabama. Did you know Percy Sledge had the 1st Gold Record that was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama?
Facts:
- He was inducted to the "Alabama Music Hall of Fame" in 1993.
- He was inducted to the "Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame" in 2004.
- In 2005, he was also inducted to the "Rock & Roll Music Hall of Fame."
Tickets for this show on March 25th will start at $125.00 & can be obtained by calling 1-800-239-2643. Note: This will cover the pre-show reception at 5pm, the dinner at 6pm, & the 7pm show.

I didn't realize Percy Sledge was still alive goodness he is one of our favorites too! I bet his concert was awesome and I think you for providing some information about him too I enjoy trivia. :)
